I flew with MAS Airlines arriving to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia at 8am. My next flight was with AirAsia departing at 11am. Looking at my two tickets, I found out that I am going to arrive and depart in two different airports. Arriving in Terminal M and departing in KLIA2. I was so scared to be lost. Good thing I had enough time to walk and ask information desk for directions.
- First thing to do is go out of the airport. Terminal M is also quite big. Well, both terminals are big so I hope you have a good walking or running shoes. As soon as you walk out the door you will see the airport transfer counter. Those are for taxi and metered taxi. DO NOT GO THERE. Turn left.
- Go to the elevator. It has pink signage. As you turn left you will be walking for about a minute or two. You will pass by the information counter. And a couple of steps away from the information counter are the two elevators on both side.
- Press KLIA2
- Go to the train ticketing counter and purchase a ticket. It costs RM2.00. (As of February 4, 2015) Tap the QR code to let you in the waiting area.
- The arrows will show which train is going to KLIA2 or to KL Central. Sometimes the train notification center will announce it and sometimes it doesn’t so it is better to know which train to take.
Terminal M is not far from KLIA2. It took 3 to 4 minutes to get there.
